1. i really like the close up. i looked at it first so i didn't realize that it was a close up or a larger painting, i thought that was the painting. so initially i was really excited because i love how rough it is with the not so defined areas and use of colors. for example i love how you use colors like navy blue and pink that i would never have thought to use. i even like the weird red line in the background. and i know that you're not into the abstract stuff rachael but i would be uber (and by uber i mean 00ber) excited to see stuff even more like this. you know like using strange colors and instead of it looking more photorealistic (this isn't, i'm just using an exaggeration) using like larger brushstrokes and less details and such. you know where when you look at it far away you know what it is but then when you look closer its like, what the fuck was i looking at? I really like the hair
2. rachael if you get abstract you will blow my mind. now i don't want you to feel like i'm putting pressure on you. i will still be friends with you if you don't get abstract, and i will still deal you pot. i'm just saying. it would blow my mind.
3. JUNEAU'S SO HANDSOME!! he's such a handsome dog. i can't even beleive it. i have a crush on him. i think.
4. matt damon's in hiyao miyazaki's new movie coming out august 12.
ALLISON!! How i have yearned to hear of your feelings for me. I am flattered and enraptured. what can i say but these words: I love you i love you i love you! Long have i admired you from afar, and desired to lick your face. Rachael is a cad. I want you and only you for the rest of my life. Pick me up tomorrow around three. We shall elope and our happily ever after shall commence.
This is actually Dakota, but it wont let me put my name in for some fucking reason.
I actually do agree with what Allison said. I love how you make stuff like shading and highlights in a single stoke when I would not think to do that. I would be like "blendblendblend" untill it is one big fuzzy mess. Also, this lady is interesting sexy. I think I like your ladies with thicker necks. I know that is a weird thing, but remember when you drew that lady with the thicker neck and I loved her and you ERASED MY LOVE. God. Her collar bone is also kind of turning me on.
Not as much as Juneau (I thought Juno, like the God? No?) though.
The Doodlewall started as an actual wall, at an independent high school, in sunny southern California. It was a wall where students could post their doodles from class instead of throwing them away in old notebooks. The idea was that anyone's attempts at visual self-expression could be valued as art by some other person and that doodles were worth something more than recyclable paper. In time, the doodlewall grew into a rawther large mural filled side to side with student artwork. But alas! As children tend to do, the first generation of Doodlers grew up (kindof). They graduated and left their wall, and their town, and each other. This blog is an attempt to keep their friendship and the spirit of the doodlewall alive.
